A beautiful Mother Book

The Mother Book was created by ad agency Dentsu in partnership with Kishokai Medical Corp. Each page allows the mother to make note of memories and emotions.

The Mother Book is a pregnancy diary. It mirrors the 40 weeks spent nurturing a baby inside the mother’s womb.

40 weeks – 40 pages for explaining & keeping memories of pregnancy.

Through its elaborated design, this handcrafted book reveals the changing shape of a woman’s body with the help of topographical cutouts.

Great Wave by Hokusai in 50000 Lego Pieces

Katsushika Hokusai (葛飾 北斎, c. 31 October 1760 – 10 May 1849) was a Japanese artist. He’s the author of the woodblock print series Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji which includes the internationally iconic print, The Great Wave off Kanagawa.

Japan-based artist Jumpei Mitsui is one of just 21 LEGO Certified Professionals in the world—this means his full-time job is to create artworks with the plastic building blocks—and is the youngest of the renowned group.

It took 400 hours and 50000 Lego blocks to recreate the original wooden block by Hokusai, as well as hours studying waves mechanics for a better rendition.
